With a growth in RMR of 8.3%, Crime Prevention has been ranked as the 87th largest security systems company in the USA, by industry publication SDM Magazine. “We are proud to be among the top security companies in the country,” says Founder and President John A. Pastore, Jr.

With a strong focus on securing homes and families, Crime Prevention ranks #32 in Residential customers. VP of Sales Randi Elrad says “It is a huge honor to be recognized for providing life safety systems to so many families in North Central Florida.”

Pastore attributes the company’s continued growth and success to an excellent team of 100 employees dedicated to Crime Prevention’s mission of life safety. With a recent expansion into Orlando, he expects the company to see even more growth in 2013. “We launched our Orlando division in April 2012,” says Pastore. “And, after a year, that branch continues to grow. We’ve seen our business in Gainesville steadily grow as well, so we are excited for another great year!”

Buddy McTureous, Senior Life Safety Consultant, retired after nearly 22 years with Crime Prevention Security Systems.  He looks forward to spending more time with his beautiful wife Rochelle, their two boys Edwin and Eric, and their grandchildren.

Buddy’s success with our company was due in large part to his passion for life safety. He helped to secure thousands of families and businesses throughout North Central Florida during his career.

While we will miss Buddy at work, we will miss his antics even more. Buddy notoriously prank-called any new Crime Prevention employee. It was a kind of initiation. He always kept the mood light at CPSS with a joke, funny text or email. Sometimes he even delighted us with magic tricks.
